On the intervening night of 30/04/23 & 01/05/23, an incident of robbery was reported at PS Najafgarh, wherein the complainant stated that three unknown persons robbed his motorcycle and purse at Najafgarh Road, Near Sai Baba Mandir, Najafgarh. As per the statement of the complainant a case vide FIR No. 172/23 U/s 394/34 IPC was registered at PS Najafgarh and investigation was taken up.
TEAM AND OPERATION
Seeing the gravity of the case, the team of Spl Staff was tasked to work out the robbery case and nab the accused persons at the earliest. A team of police officials of Special Staff, Dwarka district, led by Insp. Naveen kumar comprising SI Jaiveer, ASI Umesh, ASI Mahesh, HC Kulbhusan, HC Dev kumar, HC Sandeep, HC Parveen, HC Vijender, HC Adesh, and HC Paramjit, HC Sumit from PS Najafgarh under the overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka, was constituted in this regard. The team started working relentlessly to crack the case. Several CCTV footages of the spot as well as nearby places of the spot were analyzed by the team. Secret informers were also deployed in the area to get any clue about the culprits.
Finally, the team got a specific information that one Ramgopal @ Bhura who is a desperate criminal is involved in this robbery. On 07/05/23, a trap was laid at Surakh Pur Road. On the basis of secret information accused Ramgopal @ Bhura was apprehended by the team. On interrogation, he disclosed his name and address as Ramgopal @ Bhura R/o Vill Ujwa, Jafarpur Delhi, Age 32 years. During frisking, one country-made pistol, 02 live cartridges recovered from his possession. Robbed motorcycle was also recovered from his possession. Accordingly, he was arrested vide FIR No. 203/23 U/s 25 Arms Act PS BHD Nagar. Later, during investigation two snatched mobile phones, one stolen scooty, one stolen rickshaw & one gate was also recovered at his instance.
Further, 3 days PC remand of accused was taken for the source of weapons as he disclosed that he procured the recovered weapons from one Rahul Choudhary R/o Sewa Nangla, Aligarh, U.P. As per trap, a deal was conducted with Rahul Choudhary by using mobile phone of accused Ramgopal @ Bhura for providing more weapons, even some amounts was also transferred in his account. After finalizing the deal, a trap was laid near Highway, Tappal, Aligarh, U.P, and when accused Rohit Choudhary came to supply the illegal arms, he was also apprehended by the team. Total 07 country-made pistols recovered from his possession. He was also arrested in the above said case. Further investigation is going on in this regard.
