Dwarka Sports Complex, under the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Sector-11, Dwarka, successfully hosted the Republic Day Celebrations 2025 on 26th January. The event witnessed an impressive turnout of members and residents of Dwarka Sub City, who participated enthusiastically in two sessions packed with engaging activities and patriotic fervor.
Morning Session Highlights
The morning session began with a Flag Hoisting Ceremony accompanied by mini yoga sessions, aerobics, and skating performances by complex trainees and nursery children from Shri Ram School. Their lively presentations captivated the audience, creating a spirited environment for all attendees.
The Chief Guest, Shri Ankit Singh (IPS), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dwarka District, officiated the flag hoisting ceremony. He was joined by Col. Anuj Chaturvedi, Secretary of Dwarka Sports Complex, and Shri A.S. Chhatwal, a prominent social worker from Dwarka. Shri Ankit Singh delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and democracy, followed by a vote of thanks led by Col. Anuj Chaturvedi, who lauded the efforts of all participants and organizers in fostering a patriotic spirit.

In the afternoon, the celebrations continued with activities tailored for senior citizens and veterans, including:
