The campaign, titled 'Ear and Hearing care for all! Let’s make it reality', is being organised by Rampo Hearing Clinic and Collaborated with SGT University Speech & Hearing Department, Rotary Club Govinda, and Sonadev Aarogyam in Dwarka,Delhi.

This Hearing Camp helped children who are found to suffer with poor academic performance, minimal to mild hearing loss, listening and speech difficulties, ear-discharged, impacted wax and other ear related problems. They were given free ear protection device to educate and save their ear from noisy place.

So far, Rampo Clinic collaborated with SGT university, Sonadev Aarogyam, Vision Institute, faridabad, Rotary Club Govinda and has screened about an average 500 children in 6 months so far, this programme will benefit children to hear, listen and speak better and most importantly to educate about ear and hearing Heath care.

In addition with this, Rotary Club of Delhi Govinda distributed note books, toothbrush and toothpaste among children on this occasion and has been helping and supporting in the past to children in need.

Children aged between seven years and 15 years in India are found to have Mild to Moderate Conductive hearing loss because of ear-discharge, Speech and listening difficulties and poor academic performance because of difficulties with speech articulation, stuttering, cluttering, etc, as the main cause of speech and hearing impairment. Dr Alok HOD and Professor from Vision Institute said that a regular Hearing and Speech check-up will, therefore, significantly help them in their education and overall development.

These children will be able to speak, hear and read better and can hope to look forward to a better future.”

President of Rotary Club Govinda Mr. M.P.Garg and future president Mr.S.P.Singh stated that Hearing and Speech related problem has been gradually increasing in school age children. Dr Santosh and Professor & Dr Ejaj Hussain added that a structure and comprehensive camp required to serve this purpose continuously, President of Sonadev Aarogyam and Director of Rampo Clinic Dr Ram P Kumar said that delighted to be able to take the campaign to its next phase and expand its coverage across the global. “Hearing and Speech care for Children is one of our current priorities and we will be delighted to be a partner with many organisations, institutes, Clinic and Hospitals in coming phase to address and educate to hearing and Speech health care for all.
