Today we are in conversation with Dr Suparno Chakrabarti in regard of Bone Marrow Transplant and Half Match Bone Marrow Transplant. Dr. Suparno Chakrabarti is a highly respected hematologist and bone marrow transplant specialist, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital in New Delhi. With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years, Dr. Chakrabarti is recognized for his expertise in treating complex blood disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, and aplastic anemia. He is known for pioneering work in half-matched (haploidentical) transplants, which offer life-saving treatment options for patients with limited donor availability.
Dr. Chakrabarti has extensive international experience, having completed fellowships in hematology and bone marrow transplantation in the UK, including at Birmingham Heartland’s Hospital and Bristol Children’s Hospital. He is also a member of several prestigious organizations, such as the American Society of Hematology and the British Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation. With over 100 research publications, he has contributed significantly to advancements in hematology and stem cell transplantation.
