In this episode, we meet Aditya Kumar, a 36 year old cricketer, carrying his cricket from Eastern parts of India, to his college MIT - Manipal University, Karnataka and then Delhi district cricket division - C and B. Aditya is a multi dimensional individual, with background in mechanical engineering, with wide interest in education and teaching. He is currently heading a team in Gurgaon in educational sector.
Over a period of 12 years, Aditya has led the cricket team in college, Manipal Institute of Technology - MIT, Manipal and then in Delhi cricket clubs and various tournaments over a period of time. In the local circuit, Aditya is a well known specialist middle order batsman and wicket keeper. He is also quite famous for his captaincy, unorthodox cricket tactics and strategies. Aditya has also lead an uncapped club team to the finals of Division C league in year 2018-19 and has been instrumental in developing a club team and setting it towards an ascendency, which has been performing for a long time.In this interview, Aditya shares with us his beginnings and fascinating journey full of - observations, Self taught approach, open skill and implicit learnings . A lot of cricketers who indulge in self experimentation or lack the support of formal coaching or academy can take lessons from Aditya. He gives his unique, practical and intelligent viewpoints on various nuances and aspects of the game, both on and off the field. A great discussion for cricketers to develop their own second brain towards the game of cricket.
