Starting this episode, Khel aur Khiladi begins its venture into deeper waters. The discussion of this series warrants participation and viewpoint of all stakeholders to culminate the complete thesis of the sports, including - Players, Coaches, Managers, Administrators ,Curators and all allied sectors of well needed support.
We commence our discussion by inviting the experienced coaches to shed light and provide their viewpoint.
In the first interview, we invite Shri TV Subramaniam, the founder, Coach and honorary Secretary of Pelicans Cricket Club since 1980. Popularly Known as 'Mani Sir', with his several contributions to Cricket and sports. He has seen all seasons of the game and it's metamorphosis with time. One of the senior most coaches and administrators in Delhi circuit, Shri TV subramaniam has been organizing, administering and scouting cricket talent for the state for over 43 years. He also served and retired as Deputy General Manager (HR & Sports) for Airport Authority of India and has meticulously worked on several sports policies in his tenure. Shri Mani has also been associated with DDCA , while chairing several important committees, including - Chair of League and tournaments committee, Chair of Ranji and senior BCCI tournaments and has also served as manager and selector of several Delhi Junior Cricket Teams. Shri Mani is also the Honorary treasurer for All India Public Sector Sports Promotion Board and is also a well known TV personality, featuring on Doordarshan as a cricket commentator and several cricket talk shows. Shri Mani specialises in cricket coaching, sports writing, policy development, team management and general administration of cricket and sports. In this episode, he discusses his upfront views and suggestions for the game and players. An important interview to open up the larger forum for experienced professional of the game and take to the much needed discussions.
