The 49th edition of the prestigious Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Prize Money Cricket Tournament will be held from May 17 to June 2, 2026, at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. This year, 12 top cricket teams from Delhi-NCR have been selected to participate in the tournament.

The draw for the tournament was conducted by Modern School Principal Dr Vijay Datta, following which fixtures were shared with all participating teams. The teams have been divided into four pools — A, B, C and D.

Pool A:
Bal Bhavan Cricket Club, Mount Cricket Club, Delhi Cricket Hub

Pool B:
Wonder Cricket Club Noida, Collage Sports Club, Sonnet Cricket Club

Pool C:
Run Star Cricket Club, Bright Cricket Club, Kushal Cricket Club

Pool D:
Sporting Club, Tilak Nagar Colts, L.B. Shastri Club

Dr Vijay Datta announced that the winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 2.5 lakh, while the runners-up will be awarded Rs 1.5 lakh. The two losing semifinalists will also receive Rs 50,000 each.

In addition, the Best All-Rounder of the tournament will be awarded a special prize of Rs 21,000. Several other attractive awards will also be presented to outstanding performers during the competition.

The opening match of the tournament will be played between Sonnet Cricket Club and Collage Sports Club on May 17 at 8:00 AM at the Modern School Barakhamba Road ground.

Considered one of Delhi’s most prestigious cricket tournaments, the competition has previously featured several renowned cricketers, including Kapil Dev, Ajay Jadeja, Rishabh Pant, Gautam Gambhir, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Bhaskar Pilley.
