Her father used to run an academy, and that is what prompted her to develop an inkling for judo.
During the conversation, Balhara reminisced her performances in various championships and how she felt being a winner. "It is a moment of pride to see the Tricolour flying high, and nothing else can beat it," she says.
Raving about her coach, Samundra Tokas, she says, "He always motivates us to perform better."
