Brilliant knock by Delhi U-19 left handed batsman Priyansh Arya 145 runs (4x6s, 20x4s, 105 balls) and fine bowling leg spinner Vasu Mudgal (4/35) enabled L.B.Shastri Cricket Club beat Delhi Colts C.C. by huge margin of 110 runs and enter the p-q- final of the 28 th All India Volga Om Nath Sood Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at St.
Stephens ground here today. Highlight of the Match, Put in to bat L.B. Shahtri started off well with openers Priyansh Arya and Suraj Vashisht (43) put on 111 runs off 107 balls for the 1 st wicket. For 2 nd wicket Priyansh and Sumit Chikara (50) put on 77 runs. Priyansh added 79 runs for the 3 rd wicket with Ankush Tyagi (40). Later in the innings Paras Sehrawat came up with a little cameo scoring 40* runs off just 21 balls with two sixes and three fours which helped their team reach a mammoth total of 320 runs. Chasing 321 runs Delhi Colts C.C. folded up in the 33.5 overs for 210 runs. Thanks to some fine bowling by leggie Vasu Mudgal (4/35) & Ankush Tyagi (2/39). Anurag Tyagi (62) and Raman Arora (40) batted well for Delhi Colts. B.D.M. Man of the Match was given to Priyansh Arya.
