Match 12 of the 1st NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cup was played at Essex Farms Cricket Club & Academy at Chhawla on 6th February 2023, between Pelicans CC and Rajinder Nagar CC. Pelicans CC won the toss in this Pool C encounter and elected to bat first.
Vikas Rana started well with a 21 ball 34 runs. His innings was cut short by Jasvinder Advani who took 2 wickets for 40 runs. Inder Chauhan made a patient 43 off 50 balls, setting up a final flourish by Pragyan sharma for a fast 36 in 25 balls. Javvad Turki bowled an impressive spell of 2 wickets for 23 runs in his 4 overs. Pelicans CC made 149 runs for 5 wickets in their 20 overs. In reply, Rajinder Nagar CC could muster only 119 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Tushar Sudan top scored with a brisk 45 off 32 balls. Inder Chauhan chipped in with 2 wickets for 14 runs for Pelicans CC. Pelicans won by 30 runs. Inder Chauhan won the Kimati Player of the Match for his all round performance
