Blistering century by Gulshan Kumar 100 runs including 6x6s, 6x4s in mere 63 balls and fine half century by both Amit Pal 58 helped A.C.Sports (Faridabad) beat Ravi Brothers Cricket Club by 99 runs in the inaugural match of the 27th All India Sperry Om Nath Sood Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at Shivaji college ground. Put in to bat A.C.Sports lost five wickets for just 117 runs. After that Gulshan Kumar and Amit Pal put on 113 runs for the 6th wicket and Gulshan & Achal Singla (38) put on 80 runs for the seventh wicket to take their team total to 336 runs. In reply, Ravi Brothers at one stage were 167 for 1 in 22.2 overs but after the dismissal of Shivam Tripathi (92) they lost quick wickets and fell short by 99 runs.
B.D.M. Man of the Match was given to Gulshan Kumar.
