Delhi on verge of gaining bonus as Shivank and Tejas impose Follow-On

The 14th Match of Col C K Nayudu Trophy (2017-18) was played between Delhi and Vidarbha at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur. Delhi won the toss and chose to bat first. On Day-2, Delhi's innings ended on 389 runs. Lalit Yadav went on to score 154 runs and Wicket-Keeper Dinesh Mor scored 71 runs. AM Deshpande took 7 wickets to end the visitors innings. Coming into bat, Vidarbha never had control in their innings as the team got out on mere 114 runs. SK Wath was the top scorer of the innings who scored 36 runs while from the visitors Shivank Vashisht took 5 wickets and Leg-Spinner Tejas Baroka took 3 wickets. Having a huge lead of 275 runs Delhi imposed Follow-On to Vidarbha. This time the home team started well as the openers gave a 52 run stand before AV Wakhode got out on 21. Captain SO Kotariya was looking in good form as he had scored 43 runs but unfortunately he got out and again the innings stumbled. The day ended on 94/3 in 38 Overs. Tejas Baroka, Shivank Vashisht and Sarang claimed 1-1 wicket each. The umpires for the match are Ramesh Kumar, Abhijeet Bengeri while the match Referee is Satyajit Satbhai.
