Stand N Stride, an NGO based in Dwarka, organised an event at DDA Park, Sector 6, to bring together like-minded people, who are working consistently to educate and empower underprivileged children through its initiative Pathshala.
"We have been running this NGO for the last two years. Our first project started in Hari Nagar slum. The classes in the DDA Park run from Monday to Saturday; the classes till eight started a year ago. Children are grouped based on their mental level, and many people have joined the movement to bring education to those who can't afford to attend a regular school," says Amod Kumar, an engineer by profession and a social worker by passion, who is also the brain behind the endeavour.
