Team of Anti Auto Theft Squad has done a commendable work by arresting two interstate robbers namely (1) Satish @ Saka S/o Rajender r/o Lakhan Pana Badli Vilkage Jhajjar HR age 35 years and (2) Sonu S/o Krishan r/o Lakhan Pana Badli Vilkage Jhajjar HR age 25 years, after brief exchange of fire with recovery of two illegal pistols, live cartridge, one motorcycle and cash Rs. 14,500/-
BRIEF DETAILS OF INCIDENT:-
On 03/03/24, an incident of Gold Chain and mobile phone robbery took place in the area of Police Station Chhawla. On checking of CCTV footage it came to fore that gold chain and mobile phone were robbed by two unknown bikers/persons. As per statement of complainant a case under appropriate section was registered at Police Station Chhawla Delhi.
TEAM & OPERATION:-
Seeing the gravity of the offence, a dedicated team of Anti Auto Theft Squad Dwraka headed by Inspr Kamlesh Kumar, I/c AATS Dwraka comprising ASI Jitender, Hc Sonu, Hc Manish, Hc Jairam and Const Arvind was constituted under the supervision of Sh Ramavata,r ACP/Ops Dwraka, to nab the culprits.
In pursuance of the task given by worthy DCP/Dwraka, on 06/03/24, when team was present at Paprawat Village, same bike and both culprits were seen by the team. Same was chased. After some distance, when they were intercepted by the team, they opened fire towards police party. Police team gave warning to them but they again fired upon police team, police also retaliated in self defence after following due procedure. During exchange of fire, accused Satish @ Saka sustained bullet injury on his leg. Both the accused persons were apprehended with illegal weapons. Immediately, injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. From their possession 1 sophisticated pistol, 1 single sound pistol, 1 live cartridge, 1 motor cycle and cash amount have been recovered. Both accused are associates of gangster Mainpal, who is absconding in several murder cases and a reward of Rs. 7 Lacs has been declared on his arrest by Haryana Police.
