In this episode, five students of a government-run school in Sector 22, Dwarka, shared their thoughts on water conservation.
The students were of the opinion that water conservation is a burning issue, but it is something that has been neglected so far. They were unanimous to save water that is a scarce natural resource and needs to be conserved for our current use as well as for our future.
Two students who came from a rural background expressed their concerns over wastage of water in most homes in their neighbourhood. They highlighted their water saving measures and how they have devised innovative measures like using waste water from RO machine and AC.
The conservation also veered towards water conservation efforts being undertaken by waterman Rajendra Singh and the utility of johads in rural areas.
Among the various measures that they suggested included generating awareness among people at large to make water conservation popular.
