Today we share the story of Jakhni Village in Banda district of Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh which has been declared as the Model- Jalgram by NITI Aayog.
बांदा के एक छोटे से गांव जखनी ने ऐसा कमाल दिखाया कि दुनिया भर के जल विशेषज्ञ और वैज्ञानिक हैरान हैं, किस तरह से इस गांव के निवासिओं ने बिना किसी अनुदान और तकनीकी सहायता के सहभागिता की भावना के साथ काम कर के स्वयं ही बढ़ा लिया. This village is part of the drought stricken region but taken great steps of water conservation to increase ground water levels.
