The Semi-Final match of Col C K Nayudu Trophy (2017-18) was played between Delhi and Tamil Nadu at Airforce Complex ground, Palam, New Delhi. The toss was won by Tamil who chose to bat first. The Visitors got all-out on 229 runs from which 113 were scored by opener N Jagadeesan. Leg Spinner Tejas Baroka and Lalit Yadav took 3-3 wickets each. On Day-2, Delhi gained the lead as they scored 363 runs. Dinesh Mor and Captain Jonty Sidhu laid the foundations with their century knocks. Abhinanv Mohan took the most 4 wickets. On Day-3, Delhi got all-out on 479 runs after playing 143.2 Overs. Dinesh Mor remained not-out on 152 runs while Jonty Sidhu made 110 runs. Abhinav Mohan remained the pick of the bowlers as he took 6 wickets. Now it was the time for Tami Nadu to bat again. At the end of the day, Tamil Nadu scored 196 runs after loosing 5 wickets. Tejas Baroka again picked 4 wickets. Tamil still trail by 54 runs. The Umpires for the match were Umesh Lalitaprasad Dubey, K N Ananthapadmanabhan while the Match Referee were V Narayanankutty.
