Fabulous spell of bowling by U.P. Ranji left arm spinner Saurabh Kumar (7.3-1-14-6) and fine knock by Hiten Dalal 42* (3x6s, 5x4s and 24 balls) enabled Oil and Natural Gas Corporation beat Rohtak Road Gymkhana by 9 wickets to quarter final of the 28th All India Volga Om Nath Sood Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at St. Stephens ground. Put in to bat RRG at one stage were 52/1 in 13.4 overs. Thereafter Saurabh Kumar bowled a magical spell and RRG lost there last eight wickets for just 26 runs and the team got bundled out for 78 runs in the 27th over. Chasing a mere 79 runs ONGC openers Shivam Chaudhary 35 runs (7x4s & 21 balls) along with Hiten Dalal 42* (3x6s, 5x4s & 24 balls) added 75 runs off 43 balls to help their team register place in the quarter finals. Saurabh Kumar was adjudged B.D.M. man of the match.
