Fine bowling by left arm spinner Manish Sehrawat (4/23) enabled Swami Shardanand College beat BDM XI by five wickets and enter the pre quarter final of the 28th All India Volga Om Nath Sood Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at St.Stephens Cricket Ground. Put in to bat BDM XI lost wickets at regular interval and was bundled out for mere 96 runs in 25.4 overs. Manish and Harman Singh (2/04) bowled well for Shardanand College. For BDM XI Skipper Shivam Sharma (ex-Kings XI Punjab player) scored 30 runs off 31 balls with five fours. Chasing 97 runs SSN College also lost five wickets but went onto win the game in the 14th over. Shivam Sharma (3/31) and Rohan Rawat (2/31) shared wickets for BDM XI. Manish Sehrawat was adjudged B.D.M. man of the match.
