We have to cultivate a culture of research in the university - Prof. Mahesh Verma
“We are trying to create a culture of research in the university as education institutions are known for their research. For any type of research, knowledge is important. As we are living in a knowledge – based society, it is necessary to update and upgrade the resources of knowledge regularly,” said Prof. Mahesh Verma, vice – chancellor, IP University. He was speaking at the inaugural function of an online workshop on “ Effective Mechanism to Conduct Research using EBSCO” here today.
He further said that society is undergoing into rapid change and we cannot aloof from the change. We have to cope with the change to sustain, especiall y in the knowledge – based networked society. Keeping in view, we are trying to do the digital upgradation of knowledge resources of the university.
Dr Savita Mittal, in - charge - library of the university informed on the occasion that the university library is full of information resources, even digital resources, to the needs of teaching and research of the university.
