Radio Dwarka invited two schoolchildren — Yash and Kashish along with Varsh Agarwal— to its studio to know more about their plans for the vacations. It may come as a surprise to many that these children are spending their ongoing summer break by imparting vocational courses — basic computer skills and tailoring — to underprivileged women and children. Yash and Kashish are students of Class 11. These two volunteers said that it's a small way of contributing to their welfare. Thankfully, these kids had the full support of their parents, who encouraged them to do their bit for giving back to the society, and making a difference in their lives. The computer classes for children will start from June 3, 2016, to July 30, 2016. The hour-long classes will be held on Fridays and Saturdays in the evening at a school being run by NGO at Sector 23, Dwarka.
Another volunteer Varsha said that the tailoring classes will be held for an hour in the evening on two days at Sector 23, Dwarka.
The project is being run by Pahal, a Dwarka-based NGO.
