Tajurba | Raji K Ponnappan | Making a difference in the lives of cancer patients
Our guest today is Raji K Ponnappan, a cancer survivor, who is working to create awareness about the dreaded disease among people.
"My problem was an eye-opener or sorts for me. I could figure out who will stand by me and for how long," he says on overcoming cancer. During his college days, he met with an accident and post that he lost vision in right eyes. So he has seen problems that disability can bring along, and it was only compounded when he and his family had to deal with a deadly disease like cancer.
A resident of Kerala, he has been running his business in Delhi NCR and has been active on the social circuit.
"I want to help other cancer-affected people and their families, who need support and financial aid to deal with such crisis, so I started this foundation," he says.
The foundation is having a tough time raising funds for its philanthropic activity. "We are struggling financially. So we are organising a cultural activity in Janakpuri to raise money for our work," he says.
