In this episode, a homeopathic physician by profession, Dr Kapila Sharma, tells us how she balances work and life, which she attributes to her parents and their upbringing. "My father was a strict disciplinarian who inculcated good values in our growing up years, and that comes in handy today. My mother was a homemaker, but she has contributed a lot in shaping our today," she says beaming with pride.
She completed her BHMS course in 2005 and got married soon after. "I had to quit my job to raise my daughter," she says on starting a private practice from her residence, and has expanded it after her second born was old enough to stay back with granddad at home.
She highlights the benefits of homeopathic medicine. "It should be first hand and not just an alternate form of treatment," she says.
