In this episode, our guest Bushra Muzaffar tells us how she started blogging and went on to start Noida Diary, a sought after information site on anything and everything about Noida.
Bushra reminisces her father's overbearing influence in her life and how she landed in the corporate world after clearing management entrance exam and bagging the fifth position. She went on to complete her management degree in finance and started off with a job in the automobile sector in Jaipur and from there moved on to join GE Capital in Delhi. She got married to a doctor from the Armed forces and had to quit her job when her husband was transferred to Jammu and Kashmir and had to take up a posting in Akhnoor. "It was difficult to adjust to the vacuum, but I slowly got used to it. But the only saving grace was the fact that I was with Yusuf. He needed some moral support, and I tried to do justice to that duty," she says.
When her husband's term with SSC got over, the couple moved to Noida, and it seemed like a completely new world as she was clueless about the place. She started documenting important information related to Noida, and that is how her blog came into existence. Today her name is synonymous with the blog.
"Women are the foundation of our society. Respect, understand and support them to make our society progressive," she says.
