Jolly, who hails from Jharkhand, has had a blessed life with a loving and supportive parents who ensured that she got the best education and even after marriage and children, they stood behind her so that she could pursue her aspirations. "The thought that they have only two daughters never crossed their minds. My parents brought us up like sons and not girls," she says proudly.
Keeping in mind the contribution of her parents towards her education, Jolly made sure that she never wanted to give up on her career.
Describing herself, she says, "I am a fun-loving woman who lives by a set of rules. I have made some tough choices, but today I am glad that I took that tough decision to call it quits. I was unable to focus on my career and children at the same time. So I had to choose one." She gave up her job one fine day and decided to start as an independent diet consultant. Her choice paid off, and today she has a flourishing consultancy business.
"Stay happy, don't neglect your dreams and let go of your career. Don't waste time, energy and resources that your parents have invested in your education," she says.
Another important message that she doled out for women was to stay healthy by eating healthy and staying happy.
