In this episode, Amog Lila Dasji talks about sacrifices that need to be done by human beings to work towards self-realization. “The human life is a loophole in the cycle of birth and death.” Yagnas are inevitable, and thus the sacrifices done for the God opens the door of spirituality.
In verse 31, Lord Krishna explains that poor deeds and attitude in current life will not earn happiness in current as well as next life. One’s sacrifices in life please the God and one is blessed in the form of abundant resources.
In verse 32, Lord Krishna enlightens us by saying that the sacrifices that need to be done have to be in accordance to our Vedas as Vedas are the voice of God or Divya Gyan. We need to perform meaningful sacrifices to make mankind successful.
In verse 33, Lord Krishna goes on to explain that the sacrifices performed in knowledge is better than mere sacrifice of material possessions and thus beautify one's existence in mind, intelligence and ego. The first and foremost thing that one needs to sacrifice is ego. He goes on to say that all sacrifice of work culminates into transcendental knowledge.
