In this episode, Radio Dwarka invited Mukesh Gupta, a Chartered Accountant by profession, and founder of Wealthcare Securities Private Limited where they manage assets worth Rs 500 crore and provide advisory to clients and take care of their investments. He spoke at length about Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) which he called as Smart Investment Plan. "Most people who come to me say they are keen to go for SIP, but don't want to invest in mutual funds. Though it means one and the same," he said.
Highlighting the advantages, he said, "It is a kind of recurring investment. You invest a fixed amount every month and over a period, it helps in creating wealth."
Of all the products, it is the best option. "It can contribute to meet your financial goals. It is tax efficient."
Calling SIP as the product of future, he told that it works best in a volatile market. "Liquidity, safety and transparency make it the best available option."
