Today is the World Hypertension Day. Radio Dwarka caught up with Dr. R. R. Kasliwal of Medanta Medicity, who listed out Dos and Don'ts to stay healthy and happy.
He advised that one should know the numbers. "It means that one should get blood pressure checked at regular intervals. It will help find out if one is in a high-risk zone or not. If that person is suffering from high or low blood pressure, then one must remember that prevention is better than cure."
The disease doesn't have any noticeable symptoms so one must watch out for high or low blood pressure. It leads to a lot of other illnesses like brain stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage. He also advised that one should reduce salt intake, exercise daily to avoid obesity and stay away from stress to stay healthy and stay happy.
