The fifth match of the 1st NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cup was played at Essex Farms Cricket Club & Academy at Chhawla on 25th January 2023, between Ravi Brothers CC and Players Academy. In this second encounter of Pool A, Ravi Brothers CC won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Players Academy scored 126 runs for 8 wickets in their quota of 20 overs. Yajas Sharma scored 41 in 34 balls while Vedansh Slotia scored a patient 33 runs in 30 balls. Sachin Sakya took 3 wickets for 12 runs in his 4 over spell. Harjeet who had bowled well in the Inaugural Match too, continued his good form taking 2 wickets for 22 runs in 4 overs. In reply Ravi Brothers scored 86 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Ayush Dudeja scored 26 runs, while Yajas Sharma took 2 wickets for 8 runs in 2 overs. Players Academy won the match by 40 runs. For his all round performance Yajas Sharma was djudged as the Kimati Player of the Match for his bowling efforts
