The 26th Match of Cooch Behar Trophy Under 19 (2017-18) was played between Delhi and Punjab at ST. Stephens ground, New Delhi in which Delhi won the toss and chose to bat first. The decision to bat came very good for the home team as the home team scored 380 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the first day. Openers Sanat Sangwan and Manjot Kalra had a 192 run partnership before Sanat got out on 43. Manjot Kalra scored 173 runs in 131 balls and carried the innings with Ayush Badoni who scored 66. On Day-2, Priyansh Arya's 93 run knock in the middle order helped Delhi reach 520 runs. From the bowling side Rahul Kashyap took 3 wickets while Arshdeep and Mandeep took 2-2 wickets each. Coming into bat, Visiting batsmen gained starts but were unfortunate to convert them in big scores as Punjab lost 4 wickets for 90 runs. Arjun Verma scored 33 while Nehal Wadhers is batting on 33*. Off-Spinner Hritik Shokeen took 3 wickets while Lovnish Singh 1. The Umpires for the match were Gajanand Vashistha, Saurabh Dhote while the Match Referee were Uday Naik.
