Manjot fires 173 as Delhi reach 380 on Day-1, Cooch Behar Trophy 2017-18

The 26th Match of Cooch Behar Trophy Under 19 (2017-18) was played between Delhi and Punjab at ST. Stephens ground, New Delhi in which Delhi won the toss and chose to bat first. The decision to bat came very good for the home team as the home team scored 380 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the first day. Openers Sanat Sangwan and Manjot Kalra had a 192 run partnership before Sanat got out on 43. Manjot Kalra scored 173 runs in 131 balls and carried the innings with Ayush Badoni who scored 66 runs while Mayank Rawat also scored 47 runs. From the bowling side Rahul Kashyap took 2 wickets while Arshdeep, Prerit and Rohit took 1-1 wicket each. The Umpires for the match were Gajanand Vashistha, Saurabh Dhote while the Match Referee were Uday Naik.
