The match 10 of U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy was played between Delhi and Haryana at Roshnara Club Ground. The toss was won by Delhi who chose to bowl first. On Day-3 Delhi started with 30/3 in 20 Overs. Sanath Sangwan and Mayank Gosain batted good for a while but Mayank got out on 32. Then came Captain Anmol Sharma, he also had a good partnership with Sanath and scored 61. Sanath played 199 balls and fought well for his 50 and got out to Arth Yadav. Abhijeet Singh and Lakshay Kundra scored 28 and 25 respectively. Delhi were already down to Haryana as the visitors had 1st inning lead. But, Haryna were not stopping here. They were going for an Inning defeat. Unfortunately, Delhi gave them 3 runs lead and a target of 4 which wass completed by the dashing opener Sagar Dahiya on the 2nd ball of the inning. The pic of the match for Haryana were Mayank Dahiya who scored 106 in 1st innings, Anshul Kamboj who took 6 wickets in first innings and Arth Yadav who took 4 wickets. Winning the match by 10 wickets, Haryana gained 7 points and Delhi none.
