The match 10 of U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy was played between Delhi and Haryana at Roshnara Club Ground. The toss was won by Delhi who chose to bowl first. On Day-2, Haryana were all-out on 339 runs in 102 overs. Raj Verma and Arth Yadav made 36 and 31 respectively. Openers Vivek Yadav and Sagar Dahiya played a major role on Day-1. The swashbuckling No.3 Mayank Dahiya scored 106 runs and Sagar Dahiya also campaigned him. He scored 55 runs and Nehal Pajni scored 39 runs Mayank Gusain took 3 wickets, Kamal Bairwa took 2 wickets. Keshav Tyagi went very expensive as he conceded 124 runs but claimed 2 wickets. Then, Delhi's innings started. Delhi lost their first wicket in 8.2 overs and lost their 2nd wicket in in 9th Over. The quick succession of wickets for Delhi didnt end as the home side got out cheaply on 115 runs in 40.3 overs. Anshul Kamboj from Haryana took 6 wickets. Haryana again played wisely and gave follow on to Delhi. Delhi's 2nd inning also started and in 2nd innings also the same thing happened. For consecutive 3 overs, Delhi lost a wicket. In First over they lost Aryan Arora, in second Over Ganesh Vashisht and in 3rd over Aryan Rana. Delhi were 5/3 at one stage. Mayan Gosain and Sanat Sangwan will start the game for Delhi on Day-3.
