Different Offerings Different Blessings
In this episode, Amog Lilla Dasji discusses different offerings, different blessings.
In Shloka 25, Lord Krishna explains that there are two types of yogis. The karma yogis are those who perform actions for a specific reward and worship the demigods fastidiously. On the other hand, the jnana yogis are those who use Vedic knowledge to offer sacrifice to the Brahman that dissolves all actions into the Brahman.
In Shloka 26, Lord Krishna says that a Brahmachari or one who is a celibate offers all his senses such as hearing and seeing into the fire of their controlled mind, and this is their worship of the Supreme. On the other hand, the yagna that the Grihastha or married householders perform is to offer the sense objects that they enjoy into the fire in an attempt to appease their appetites for gratifying themselves in enjoyment.
