CONFUSION IS THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE
In this episode, Amog Lilla Dasji says that confusion leads to curiosity, and it forces us to ask questions and seek answers and become knowledgeable in the process.
In Shloka 1, Arjuna asks Lord Krishna that if spiritual intelligence is considered better than actions then why was he urging him to engage in a ghastly, horrific war by repeatedly telling him to arise and fight against his kith and kin.
In Shloka 2, Arjuna is beseeching Lord Krishna to clarify which is the preferred path of the two — karma yoga or jnana yoga — that gives blessedness and leads to moksha or liberation.
In Shloka 3, Lord Krishna tells Arjuna that there are two spiritual paths — jnana yoga or the path of knowledge and karma yoga or the path of actions — for seeking liberation. Not all people in this world are born with the ambition for liberation, and not all humans can embark upon the path of knowledge directly. But all people must engage in actions and perform without seeking a reward, and doing it as factual activities of divine worship.
