Radio Dwarka recently attended an investor awareness programme organised by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) at a government-run girls' school in Matiyala, Dwarka.
Those who participated in the programme comprised students belonging from the commerce stream of Class 12. They seemed enlightened to know the various saving measures such as Mutual Funds, SIP and briefed them about financial terms such as Stock Markets, etc. The students asked questions and benefitted a lot from the interactive session.
"Our students know about these financial terms and concepts. But now on, they will invest money, wisely, slowly and thoroughly," said Nutan Taneja, a teacher, speaking about the biggest takeaway for students from the programme.
