Actor Satyendra flaunts rustic charm to leave a mark in Bhojpuri films

Bhojpuri actor Satyendra Singh Rajput, who hails from Gopalganj in Bihar, tells us how he had run away from his village to land in Mumbai.
"I had stolen some money. It got over sooner than I realised. But I could not think of going home as I feared that I would be beaten up by my family. I instead started focusing on looking for a job. I got one of an office boy," he says on his early years.
Determined to make a mark, he decided to stay put in Mumbai and started with small roles in Bhojpuri film, and then moved on to bigger roles.
In his long stint, he has had many ups and down and he says, "I could make it in films only because I had my mother's blessings, friend's love, and my behaviour."
