In this episode, our guest Ramesh Chandra Sharma recounts how and why he took up teaching as a career. "My father was a teacher, and he firmly believed that teaching is a noble profession and doesn't have any scope for corruption and red-tapism," he says.
He highlighted the role of teachers in shaping young minds. "A teacher is the first person whom a child meets outside home, and so a child is profoundly influenced by his or her teacher," he adds.
He also urged parents to go back to their roots and stay connected with their immediate as well as their extended families, especially grandparents, so that their children know the importance of relationships.
