Khel aur Khiladi | Pranav Rajvanshi | Work hard, play harder
In a freewheeling chat Radio Dwarka, cricketer Pranav Rajvanshi says he has been playing cricket from an early age. The family has always supported him. He owes a lot to his father who has been his biggest pillar of strength. "My dad often accompanies me to cricket practice. I am a batsman, so he even bowls for me at times. His presence is motivating," he says. But it is her mother who makes helps him balance cricket and studies, without missing out on either. With his mother being a strict disciplinarian, he plans out his day in a way that studies don't suffer because of cricket.
The coaching that he receives at Arihant Cricket Academy is second to none. "It is one of the few centres to have video analysis facility," he says.
This batsman and wicket-keeper, who represents Delhi in Under 14 cricket, loves Chinese food, and his favourite is chilli potato, chow mien.
The young boy loves watching movies, and his favourite actors are Arjun Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut. The recent ones that he thoroughly enjoyed are Kapoor-starrer Ki&Ka and Tevar. The favourite genre of movies is the comedy.
He focusses a lot on eating right, and it is mostly sprouts and all things healthy. "Junk fails to make the cut in my dietary choice," he says.
For the young players, he says, "One should try to work hard, but play harder.
